Arashiyama … an enchanted bamboo forest

If traveling to Kyoto, a stop through Arashiyama is a must! I fell in love with this beautiful bamboo forest. It was like a magical dream amongst a peaceful enchanted forest. Arashiyama is a quick train ride taking you to the outskirts of Kyoto. Getting there early is a must or you will run into tons of tourists. I arrived at 8am and was able to take these wonderful shots with only a few people around. It was totally worth it!

We also stopped by the Iwatayama Monkey Park nearby. The fall foliage was more viewable up high. We came in mid-November but in late November you will see even more  yellow orangey leaves which are so gorgeous. Hiking to the top of the Iwatayama park you will find a nice view and be surrounded by monkeys!

I can’t wait for my next adventure! Greece and Cuba are next on the radar. Stay tuned!

Jewelry in San Fran

I recently got back from a work trip to San Fran where I went early to have time to explore the city. Of course the first thing I stumble upon is a lovely handmade craft show right outside my hotel. It was nice to see other artists in action. San Fran is such a lively, fun city. I had a blast walking around and taking photos. I snapped some of the craft show, city views, and some of me wearing my own creations!
